TECHNOËL 2011, la version 2.0
Un party des Fêtes pour l'univers des startups technologiques de Montréal et des artisans du Web québécois.
L'idée derrière TechNoël est de permettre aux petites entreprises du Web d'avoir un party des Fêtes à la mesure de leurs ambitions et à la communauté de fêter ensemble les réussites (et bien sûr nous célébrons aussi les quelques échecs et pivots).
CETTE ANNÉE: Prestation Live de "Invités Spéciaux et Secrets", en plus de vos techno-geek-DJs préférés.
Hohoho... nous gardons le nom du band bien secret pour l'instant... pour que les gens de la communauté tech puissent acheter leurs billets avant que les fans de "Invités Spéciaux et Secrets" achètent tous les billets restants en quelques minutes... mais nous allons annoncer le nom avant le jour du party, donc dépêchez-vous pour réservez vos billets, et avertissez vos collègues et amis... vos amies aussi.
Tous les profits du party iront à Équiterre
IMPORTANT: Nous faisons aussi une collecte d'équipements informatiques et électroniques usagés, donc c'est le temps de vider vos placards de vieux routeurs, modems, moniteurs, laptops, cellulaires, batteries, etc. Équiterre s'assurera que le matériel sera remis aux bons organismes, pour leur réutilisation ou récupération.
Le party commence à 21h00... DJs toute la soirée et band live un peu avant minuit.

TECHNOËL 2011, the version 2.0
A Holiday Season's party for the Montreal tech community: everyone involved with startups, entrepreneurs, web agencies... geeks and geek-lovers, all are welcome.
The concept is that small web and software startups can come together for a community party that matches their ambitions and goals. We can all celebrate the milestones achieved, successes big and small. We also celebrate the few failures and the many pivots with many drinks and some dancing.
A FIRST THIS YEAR: Live show, with "SPECIAL AND SECRET GUESTS", and with your favorite techno-geek-DJs.
Hohoho... we're keeping the band's name a secret for now, so YOU can buy a ticket, before the band's fans (they have many thousands) learn about this and DOS-attack our Eventbrite page. So, act quick, because we will announce the name before the event... at some point... And tell your colleagues, and your geek-friends.
All profits this year will go to Équiterre
IMPORTANT: We will also collect old electronic and computer equipement, so it's the perfect occasion to empty your closets of all the old routers, modems, laptops, bulky cell phones (the ones with the antenna you pull out), batteries, etc. Équiterre will redistribute the equipment to make sure it gets either reused or recycled in a proper and sustainable fashion.
The party starts at 9:00PM... DJs all night + live band a bit before midnight.
Come early, leave late. Cancel your Thursday AM meetings.
